Application and Eligibility

2005 Application Deadline is August 8th 2005 

Eligibility: 

Priority will be given to participants of NIH training programs.  K grant awardees and Junior Faculty are encouraged to apply.  All applicants must have the support of their Department or Institution.  Participants will be selected based on the following criteria:

·         academic qualifications

·         commitment to biomedical research

·         training in clinical medicine

·         letters of reference

·         departmental recommendations

·         multidisciplinary background 

Application Package to Include:

  1. Completed and signed Application
  2. Enclose Curriculum Vitae
  3. Enclose Research Summary - Follow this format:

·         Rationale (for the specific research topic)

·         Outline (include timeframe)

·         Career Goals

  1. Enclose two letters of support (one needs to be from mentor)
  2. Enclose Mentor’s Roles and Responsibilities letter signed by mentor
